I have moved my book reviews to something called Shelfari. It will save time by providing the cover art, author, and synopsis. All I have to do is write my own review. Also, the new format lends itself better to smaller reviews. I will still write a longer review every once in a while.
You can also see the cover art for books I read on my "shelf" on the right. However, it's not easy to see my reviews by clicking on those. I provided a link above to my newest reviews.
Coolio! Do you like this better than visual bookshelf/readingsocial? It looks a lot nicer, especially since living social has gone to more of a groupon type of site. I have been pretty dissatisfied with the increasing number of books that don't have cover art, even though users add it. I have also noticed several mistakes as far as authors and titles go, and livingsocial doesn't seem to have any desire to correct these.
ReplyDeleteI went with this, because Visual Bookshelf seems to lack standalone features outside of FB...such as widgets in Blogger. It also has been really stale with very few improvements lately. However, I mostly picked it because C did a bunch of research, and picked this for her "book app".
