Movie Review: The Lost Weekend

This movie made us feel like we lost our weekend!

No, I liked it better than that. It is a movie about a raging alcoholic. He is just obsessed with it. He steals, threatens, begs, lies in order to get it. He ends up passing out and going to a hospital, then he escapes, and then he starts hallucinating. Finally he snaps out of it, when his girl still loves him. That was unrealistic. Any girlfriend would have dumped him long before.

The music was too strange and repetitive. The actor did a good acting job. This was the first Academy Award movie of this type - fiction about a serious thing.
