American Idol Update

I decided to only try out for American Idol if the following were true:

• I have a chance of making it
• I have a desire to make it
• I have a desire to be a professional singer

So, the answer is no. But I hope someone I know goes and tries out at the Sprint Center.

Although I feel I am a good singer, my range is limited. I believe I am average looking, but don't have the right kind of "pop singer" look. Also, I have no desire to change my current career, or to change it to music. If I wanted that, I would already be trying to perform semi-professionally.
