redeemed myself

I hit a home run at softball last night. That is the first time I've ever hit a home run. That came on the heels of me striking out looking for the 2nd time in 3 at bats. The reason I strike out is because I greatly desire the Walk. In our league, if a guy walks, he gets to go to 2nd base, and the girl behind him gets to 1st base. Last season, I got at least one walk per game. That's why I usually bat leadoff. This season, the pitchers are better, and I have only walked once.

So I decided that I need to swing. So I got the home run and the double. We haven't won a game yet, and we have one more chance next week.
