Movie Review: An American in Paris

And we have color! And it worked well with all of the bright costumes. An American in Paris featured Gene Kelly dancing and singing to the music of Gershwin. The plot was good too, about a love triangle, until at the very end the plot kind of blew up, and the movie ended with a 17-minute ballet to the piece "An American in Paris".

Overall better than the other old movies we've seen recently. 1951 Best Picture.
