Movie Review: Gentleman's Agreement

In this movie, a writer is supposed to write an article on Anti-Semitism, and has trouble finding "the angle". Then he decides that he should pretend to be Jewish, which would work out, since he is new to the area. He also starts dating the publisher's niece and they get engaged in a few weeks. She has trouble with his experiment interfering with their relationship.

The unrealistic thing was that there was an Anti-Semite around every corner. At least hopefully that is unrealistic. The fact that he is Jewish makes everyone treat him differently. I enjoyed the acting, but the screen play was really slow.
