Stupid commercials

We have a car dealership commercial here that goes something like this.

(Show newspaper headlines: Gas prices hit record prices of $4 a gallon)

"Gas prices getting you worried? Lease a car from Suzuki and get $Y free gas!"

So....you have to be really bad at math to think you're saving money. The better strategy is to drive an old car so that you can afford to buy gas, because you're not saddled with large monthly payments.
